Carol is part of an acting 'dynasty': her father Derek has enjoyed a long career on stage, film and T.V. Fans of 1980's sitcoms
might recall his role in 'Allo, Allo'; while her sister (and my former class-mate) Amanada, too, is an actress.

Carol Royale is one of a number of contemporary actresses who attended my old school,
Streatham Hill and Clapham High, in South West London. Carol has featured frequently
on our T.V. screens in long-running 'soaps' such as 'Crossroads' (the final series);
'Heartbeat' and 'Life After Henry'.
